Defects:

Some pits and rough facets are visible in the picture.  Fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.  However, the beads are very small, and you won't notice the defects unless you look at the beads very hard.

Comments:

I redid my picture of these beads because the old picture was out of scale and too light.  Nonetheless, the old picture does give a better representation of the surface and texture of the beads, so here it is: 

The only thing that's really inaccurate about the old picture is that it's too light; the actual beads are darker.
