Opaque dark lavender beads with a heavy gold-luster coating (see Comments below). |

1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
I haven't noticed any defects. |
How photographed: |
Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. The two lamps can also cause a ring of sparkly light reflections around the outer perimeter of the beads, as has happened in this case. |

My picture is not very accurate. These beads are a medium-dark lavender (and by that I mean a purple which is not reddish) with a heavy gold-luster coating. The gold-luster coating is heavy enough that it causes the beads in the picture to look as if they were made of two kinds of glass, but they aren't. They are, as I said, a medium-dark lavender purple with a heavy gold-luster coating. For some reason, none of the cameras I have used "see" gold-luster coatings very well (perhaps the problem is my lighting). I have attached the supplier's picture. The supplier's picture shows the gold-luster coating better than my picture, but I consider it to be inaccurate in other ways. All I can say is that these are nice beads. |
