6mm Ruby Red Bicone Beads [50]
Cost per bead: |
5 cents |
Bead material: |
Glass |
Country of origin: |
Czech Republic |
Size/shape: |
6mm bicone-shaped with rounded corners (a bicone is like two pyramids joined at the base, with the hole running through their centers). |
Colors/description: |
Translucent ruby red (see my comments below). |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
The beads appear to be in good shape. Bicones don't always appear to be a uniform shape because their appearance changes depending on the angle. |
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
Comments: |
In bright daylight, the beads can look even lighter and brighter than the picture indicates. However, in artificial light at night, the beads look quite dark, almost like garnet. If the beads in the picture don't all look the same size, it's because their appearance changes with the angle from which they are viewed. |
