The supplier calls this color "tanzanite", but it looks like amethyst to me. According to the supplier, the beads are coated. I believe they mean that the beads have a synthetic (polymer-based) coating, but it seems very hard to me, almost like glass. These beads were once posted under the style number C039. Not realizing that I had already posted them, I posted them again under this number. When I realized what I had done, I kept this post because I felt the picture was more accurate. The dark lines that you see in the beads are created by the facets. |
