These are Preciosa cut crystal beads, not fire-polished beads. These beads are the Czech equivalent of Swarovski beads. The facets of these beads are much more perfect than you will find on fire-polished beads. My camera made these beads look much more richly colored than they are. In order to make the picture more realistic, I had to reduce the color saturation, and I also had to shift the hue towards red somewhat. Even so, I think that the picture makes the beads look a little nicer than they are. Don't forget that these are very small beads, and that the pictures are enlargements (showing you more detail than you will be able to see with your eyes). |
