Size/shape: |
12mm (wide) x 8mm (deep) flowers with three ridges sticking out which represent three petals. The hole runs through the middle of the flower. |
Colors/description: |
Opaque greenish turquoise with a mottle yellow-brown "picasso" coating (which gives the beads an overall green color). |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
There appears to be some roughness (in the form of straw lines or shallow fissures) in the middles of the flowers, but that is a common defect with deep flower-shaped beads. It isn't very noticeable, and it won't be noticeable at all of you string a small bead in the middle of the flower. |
How photographed: |
Under two daylight-balanced lamps. |
Comments: |
These are premium beads from my supplier of premium beads, which is why they are so costly. The 3-petal flowers from this supplier have a slightly different shape than the 3-petal flowers from the supplier that I identify as "E". These flowers have more pronounced "petals" (protrusions), whereas the petals on the flowers from E are more subtle and gentle. Both types are nice. This color combination -- turquoise with yellow-brown picasso coating -- is very popular. |
