The inner glass of these beads is black, which makes them darker than normal bronze beads. They also have a lightly applied iris coating, which gives the beads a rainbow effect (the colors in the iris coating are blue, purple and green). |

Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. Also, the close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern. |

My picture isn't perfect. First, it doesn't show the iris colors very well (if at all). Also, I took the photographs in a white T-shirt, and you can see the reflection of the T-shirt on the bottom half of each bead. (I need to buy a black T-shirt for photographing highly-reflective beads). In addition, photographing highly reflective round beads leaves a ring of lights around the periphery of each bead (caused by my two lamps reflecting their beams of light from bead to bead). |
