A mixture of opaque colors with luster coatings: ivory white, mottled light pink, mottled purple, mottled light blue, mottled green, dark pink with topaz, and a bead which seems to have more than one color in it. Some of the beads have a gold-luster coating instead of just a luster coating. |

I haven't noticed any defects. I did notice an interesting effect, however: The white beads look larger than the others, but they aren't. They measure the same. They just look larger because they are lighter. |

Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. In the case of these beads, very small, pin-point light reflections can be seen scattered throughout the beads. They look like sparkles, but they are light reflections. |

These beads have everything I love: mottled colors with a luster coating. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Please note that my picture is a little fuzzy; the fuzziness is especially evident in the close-up. |
