Size/shape:	4mm to 5mm round (spherical). Most beads are probably somewhere between 4mm and 5mm, like 4.5mm.
Colors/description:	Translucent dark blue; the color is not intense.
Hole size:	1mm (estimated).
Defects:	The beads have a variety of defects: They are not uniform in size from one to the next; a few of them are oval instead of round, or are malformed; the surface of the beads is not particularly shiny; and many of the beads have small pits and/or nicks in the surface. Of course, the beads are small, so many of the defects won't be noticeable unless you look hard. Nonetheless, I reduced the price to $2.00 (per 100) from $2.80, which is what I would have charged if the beads were perfect.

Comments:	The supplier's picture made the beads look really lovely. It made them look perfect and richly colored. But the beads are dark and devoid of much color, and they have lots of little surface defects. Digital cameras in general tend to brighten up the colors of everything they photograph. When I took my picture, that's what happened. To make my picture more realistic, I had to tone down the colors a huge amount. Despite the fact that I have tried to make my picture look as realistic as possible, it still makes the beads look nicer than they are.
