Cost per bead: |

Bead material: |

Country of origin: |

Size/shape: |
4mm (thick) x 7mm (wide) faceted rondelles. Rondelles are round beads which are wider than they are thick, making an oval when you look at them from the side. |
Colors/description: |
Turquoise (opaque aqua). This turquoise is mid-way between a bluish turquoise and a greenish turquoise. |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
Fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. If the blades that cut the facets were worn, there will be fine ridges in the facets. The close-up pictures revealed some of the facets have fine ridges in them -- but that's normal for fire-polishes beads, which are not made to the high standards of cut-crystal beads. |
How photographed: |
Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. |
Comments: |
There's not much to say about these beads: a standard shape in a standard color. |
