Defects: |
Some beads have no white in them, so they are all green. The cloud of white isn't centered in all the beads that have white in them. In most cases the white cloud is underneath the green glass, so it looks light green; but in some cases the white is right at the surface and looks white. These beads are somewhat rustic in appearance, so I don't consider the color anomalies to be a serious defect (I didn't reduce the price). In addition, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. |
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
Comments: |
The unpredictable distribution of white in these beads gives them a certain look which I think is interesting. If they had perfectly even swirls of white in all of them, they would be three times as expensive. |
