Item no.:

G1427

Bead material:

glass

Country of origin:

Czech Republic

Size/shape:

9mm flat-round with a snail-shell pattern (about 4mm thick).

Colors/description:

White beads with loose horizontal blue (and some black) stripes on the surface.  The colors are in the glass; the beads are not coated.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The pictures revealed an occasional bead with a crack.  However, the cracks are very difficult to see with the naked eye, so much so that I expect that they won't be noticed.  Since the beads are not coming apart and the cracks are hard to see, I decided not to reduce the price.

How photographed:

At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:

These beads have a different look from any beads I've carried before, and I definitely like them.  The picture makes them look somewhat dull, as if they had a matte finish, but they are shiny.  The supplier calls them blue-turquoise, but to me they are more blue than turquoise.  Please note that they were quite expensive for beads of this size.
