Bead
material: |
glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
9mm flat-round with a snail-shell
pattern (about 4mm thick). |
|
Colors/description: |
White beads with loose horizontal blue
(and some black) stripes on the surface. The colors are in the glass; the beads are not coated. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The pictures revealed an occasional bead
with a crack. However, the cracks are very difficult to see with the naked eye, so much so that I expect
that they won't be noticed. Since the beads are not coming apart and the cracks are hard to see, I decided
not to reduce the price. |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
These beads have a different look from
any beads I've carried before, and I definitely like them. The picture makes them look somewhat dull, as if
they had a matte finish, but they are shiny. The supplier calls them blue-turquoise, but to me they are more
blue than turquoise. Please note that they were quite expensive for beads of this size. |
