Bead
material: |
glass |
|
Country of
origin: |
Czech Republic |
|
Size/shape: |
12mm flat rectangles with a raised
center diamond on each side. |
|
Colors/description: |
Opaque coral pink with olive green on
the surface. Both colors are in the glass; these beads are not coated. |
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The beads appear to be in good shape.
The olive-colored glass sits in the recesses around the base of the diamond, but sometimes there is olive on the
top of the diamond. |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
|
Comments: |
These are definitely unusual beads.
A customer pointed them out to me on eBay, and I found them at one of my suppliers. I'm undecided as to
whether I like them or not. The wholesale price is quite high, as high as the polished rectangles that I
carry. |
