Opaque pink and black with a black seam in the middle of each bead.

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The center of these beads is black, and on a small percentage of beads the black comes to the surface and forms black spots.  I took a small amount off the price, but not much.  Also, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.  To read about the fire-polishing process, click here.

Comments:

I like this 'pink granite' color, but I have to admit that I'm getting tired of the seam in the middle of all round Czech beads.  Also, the pink isn't quite as rich as I would like.  In low light, these beads look very dark; they definitely look best in bright light.
